Rategenie Updates | November 18, 2022

We made a couple of changes for Rategenie.

Fixed: User settings page was not working, it's fixed now.

Updated: Airbnb booking preference window, 9 months window and Dates unavailable by default option was missing. These fields are added now inside Rategenie.

In the month of October, we made some updates to the application to improve functionality and UI/UX along with fixing bugs. Below is a quick overview of these updates 

Updated: We have provided the facility to update existing guest details when converting hold events to bookings

Updated: When events overlap now we show a tooltip which shows info on all overlapping events 

Updated: Provided ability to upload PDF files while adding expenses

Updated: Under Account Info, we now trim any spaces at the start or end of the Invoice No Prefix field

Updated: We have added a tooltip for the Invoice No Prefix field

Updated: Under Messages disabled Add Quote checkbox for Airbnb and Booking.com bookings

Updated: When a user adds their first payment gateway it should be automatically set to default

Updated: Under Rental Gallery we have added columns for Category and Description in the Image list view

Fixed: We have fixed an issue with notifications where the user is getting notifications (built-in notifications, under the Bell icon in the top right corner) that the contract has been signed by the guest when it isn't

Fixed: We have fixed an issue where today's standard rates are not being pushed to channels

Fixed: We have fixed an issue where the application crashes when you click on a Vrbo booking

Fixed: We have fixed an issue where Group Rates are not being recognized by the interstitial results page

Changes coming to Inquiry Data Feed

To better facilitate our customers we will be updating our inquiry data feed to include additional information. The following additional information will be available with inquiry data feeds

  1. Guest secondary email
  2. Guest phone
  3. Guest address
  4. Number of nights

Also, we have removed the below filter and replaced it with the Status dropdown. Now you can download confirmed bookings, cancellations, and inquiries using the Status filter.

The purpose of this post is to make you aware of this change so that you can modify your workflows when the change goes live on Dec 01, 2022.
