SIGNATURE UPDATES | APRIL 15TH - JUNE 9TH [2020]

  • We have made a number of updates and bug fixes this year, including:
Updated: The subject and message body for outgoing emails can now be customized for each template. The Edit Template modal now shows an Edit Message button, which will allow you to add your own email subject and body, that will replace the default text sent by Signature. Be sure to click the Save button for the changes to take effect.

Updated: When trying to save a contract or form, there are certain fields that are required in order to make the contract or form template valid. The Save button is disabled until the required fields are placed in the template. There is now a tooltip on the Save button to explain which required fields are missing from the template, in order to provide better guidance when completing the template creation process.

Fixed: *|RENTAL:DIRECTIONS|* & *|RENTAL: WEBSITES|* were not being replaced with the correct values when a Signature template was sent to a recipient using Automata triggers. After the fix, the correct driving directions and website URLs, for the associated rental, are now correctly populating the areas of the template where the data tokens have been inserted.

Announcing the Tokeet Affiliate Program

We are pleased to announce the official launch of Tokeet’s Affiliate Program. The program will reward affiliate partners with a 20% monthly commission for recommending our services to paying users. This commission is paid for the first 12 months of the referral’s paid subscription.

An affiliate program is simply a marketing tool employed by companies to incentivize the process of recommending visitors or paying customers to a service. After many years of requests from our users for a structured, incentive-driven customer referral program, the decision was made to launch The Tokeet Affiliate Program.

How does it work?

Potential affiliates should sign-up for the program and await approval of their application. Once approved, affiliates will be given tracking links from our affiliate software to be used for tracking their referrals. When a new potential user registers, at the end of the registration process, we will keep track of that user and associate them with your affiliate account. We will then pay you a 20% monthly commission of the Tokeet (TV3) subscription, for up to 12 months. This commission does not apply to Tokeet add-ons.

How to set-up your Affiliate account

Just click on the sign-up link and you will be taken to the partner sign up page. Affiliates can complete the registration form and submit it to get started. Upon completion, our team will make sure everything is in order and approve your application. Then an email would be sent containing login credentials to your own affiliate account. The email will also include a video walkthrough for setting up your affiliate account. You may then click into the “offers” section of your affiliate dashboard to obtain a unique link that can be passed on to potential subscribers or users. Your referrals MUST click this link in order to be tracked and credited to your affiliate account.

What are the benefits?

There is no investment required nor do you need to be a Tokeet user to get started and we are prepared to provide supporting materials such as online courses and tutorials, to aid the success of our partners. In exchange for each referral that is converted to a paying customer, we are offering a 20% commission of the monthly subscription fee for each new customer that is referred. Unlike other affiliate programs, our partners will receive the commissionable fee for up to a year. Please see our FAQ if you have further questions.

This will allow you to change the TV3 inquiry that the contract is assigned to, Previously, this action would only become visible if the assigned inquiry was deleted in TV3.

SIGNATURE UPDATES | MARCH 16TH - 23RD [2020]

  • We have made a number of updates and bug fixes this year, including:

Updated: Zoom controls have been added to the sign template page. This will allow users on both desktop and mobile to have greater control over the view settings of the template, as they complete the required fields.

SYSTEM DOWNTIME, MARCH 9, 2020

Monday, March 9, 2020

Dear Tokeet Customers,

Today we experienced a production outage that interrupted many Tokeet services for a good part of the day. This outage was due to issues that surfaced during routine database maintenance and has since been resolved. Our plan was to conduct this maintenance seamlessly, without any interruption of service as we have done successfully in the past, however today was an exception.

This is an unprecedented failure that we know is unworthy of both our history and your trust. We apologize for the outage and the disruption to your business. At this time, we are focusing our efforts on finding and recovering from any and all lingering issues resulting from this outage. As of now, all Tokeet services have been fully restored and you can continue to use Tokeet as normal.

Please check this page for new developments and any required manual actions that may be required of you. You can access the Tokeet Community using your Tokeet Channel Manager credentials.

We sincerely apologize for this outage and take full responsibility for this interruption to your service.

Sincerely,
Kwesi Steele
Tokeet Founder and CEO

SIGNATURE UPDATES | JANUARY - FEBRUARY [2020]

  • We have made a number of updates and bug fixes so far this year, including:
Updated: The photo ID request popup will not appear when the guest clicks the Submit button. This allows the guest to review and complete the contract, prior to the photo ID being submitted. Now, both contract and photo ID will be submitted at the same time, when the guest clicks the Submit button.

Updated: Users can now download a PDF of the original file they uploaded. This is done on the Templates page, by clicking the Edit button and selecting Download. Only PDF format will be supported for downloads.

Updated: The user role now shows under the profile name in the upper-right corner of the dashboard.

Fixed: Data tokens were parsing into the completed templates out of alignment, making text hard to read and/or messy-looking.

Fixed: There was a blue square appearing around the close icon on the My Signature modal.

Fixed: Property owners were receiving 2 copies of the signed contract.

Fixed: When sending a template manually, the inquiry selector was showing the email address incorrectly. The "." in .com was converted into "%2E".

Fixed: Template recipients were not able to type anything into the textbox in the template.

Fixed: Users were able to create templates that did not have required fields, allowing guests to submit empty contracts with no fields completed. This has been fixed, so the correction for any further affected users will be to re-save the templates, making sure the important fields like the signature field are marked as required. The signature field will be marked as required by default now.

Fixed: The location information on a completed contract was sometimes showing the wrong location. This will now correctly show the location where the IP address of the recipient is registered. In my case, while I live in Krabi, Thailand, my location shows as Bangkok, Thailand, where my ISP has registered the IP range.

Fixed: In the change password modal, the top field was being highlighted, which wasn't correct behavior.

2020 PRICING ANNOUNCEMENT

Thank you for using Tokeet!

As you might have noticed we’ve been very busy here at Tokeet. In 2019 we completed some of the most ambitious projects in our history and successfully launched Rategenie, Tokeet v3, Owner Center, and Margins. We spent a lot of time speaking with and listening to you, our customers, taking your feedback and direction to heart, and produced solutions to help you grow your business. We are pleased with the overwhelmingly positive feedback that we have received for each of these products and thank you for being a part of the process. There is a lot more to come in 2020.

Our Prices Are Changing

On March 1st, 2020 we will be transitioning to a new pricing structure for Tokeet (TV3). In short, our prices will be increasing about 30% on average for your Tokeet subscription. It’s been about 3 years since we last changed Tokeet’s prices and a lot has changed since then. After many weeks of consideration, we think the time is now right to update our prices to be inline with our current products and services.

Our other products (Add Ons) will not be affected by this pricing change. Those products will have their own pricing adjustments made later this year, if any. At this time no decision has been made yet about these products. The pricing adjustment of March 1st will only affect your Tokeet subscription.

Keep Your Current Plan

As with our last pricing change in 2017, we are giving all of our users the opportunity to keep their existing price plans for one year. We’ll throw in a 10% discount with each yearly plan. This is our way of thanking you for your loyalty, and being a part of our journey. You will even be able to switch between yearly plans, if your needs change within the year.

The process for keeping your current plan is simple.

  1. Let us know if you want to keep your plan via email or live chat.
  2. We will send you a one year contract via email which you must sign.
  3. Once your contract is signed we will switch you to the new one year plan.
  4. You will be charged for the entire year upfront!
Thanks again for being a Tokeet user.
Team Tokeet
