Signature Updates | January 9, 2023

We have made a number of updates and bug fixes this past quarter, including:

Updated: You can now sign documents directly in the app. If you’re the only signer on a document, the Send button will be replaced with a Sign button. Clicking it will open the signing editor, which will allow you to sign and submit the completed document directly in the dashboard.

Updated: Multiple document signers can now upload a photo ID. The saved image will appear next to each signer’s name in the Inbox Details overlay.

Updated: In order to improve ease of use, the tooltips in the template editor have been revised and updated for improved clarity.

Updated: A new content block has been added to the template editor that will insert a specified user’s name into the template when it is sent.

Updated: You can now send templates directly from the Edit Template overlay. You no longer have to click out of the editor, just to send a template.

Fixed: When typing into the search field, while selecting a signer, the cursor would sometimes disappear after the first letter was typed. This issue has been fixed.

Signature Updates | September 26, 2022

We have made a number of updates and bug fixes this quarter, including:

Updated: The contact data field behaviors for forms and contracts have now been merged. Forms can now display designated contact fields as read-only, and contracts can now retrieve contact details from designated contact fields. Learn more about it here.

Updated: When signing into a user account that does not have a phone number saved, a popup will appear requesting that a phone number be added to the account.

Fixed: When sending templates that contained a rental or inquiry data field, the Assigned Booking field was not showing the guest booking in the search results. This issue has been fixed.

Signature Updates | July 21, 2022

We have made a number of updates and bug fixes this quarter, including:

Updated: A custom signing order can be set on templates and documents. This allows users to specify the order that the template or document must be completed by all the signers. Learn more about it here.

Updated: In order to improve security, new users are now required to verify their email address, once the user has been created.

Updated: The custom branding logo is now displayed larger on the success page that displays after a document has been signed, for increased visibility.

Updated: When sending templates or documents to signers manually, you can now designate specific text fields to be filled in manually before sending. This will allow you to insert read-only text into the field, and it will be displayed when the signer opens the document for signing. Learn more about it here.

Updated: Slight color modifications made to the template editor, in order to make select fields and signers more clearly visible.

Updated: Japanese translations have been added to the list of language options in the language menu. Learn more about it here.

Updated: Updated the photo ID request pop-up to mention 3 forms of national ID: passport, state ID, and driver's license.

Fixed: For long templates and documents, some fields were misaligned further down the document. This issue has been fixed.

Fixed: When sending templates with a Booking Confirmed trigger, the inquiry cost field was sometimes showing a value of 0. This issue has been fixed.

Fixed: The password reset email was being sent without a working link. This issue has been fixed.

Fixed: Deleted documents were appearing on the Documents tab of the Contact details overlay. This issue has been fixed.

Fixed: Contact fields in forms were displaying the word “Contact” twice. This issue has been fixed.

Fixed: The Preview button in the template editor was returning an error when it tried to open. This issue has been fixed.

Fixed: Translation errors have been corrected in the registration wizard. 

Signature Updates | February 14, 2022

Happy Valentine’s Day! We have made a number of updates that you’re sure to love this month, including:

Updated: Access contact details directly from the inbox. When viewing a document in the inbox, just click on the contact name to open the contact details.

Updated: Templates can now be sent directly from the contact details page. No need to exit the contact details, just to request a signature.

Updated: The document completed email has been updated to include the rental name in the email subject (only if there is an associated booking), and a list of all signers in the email body. 

Fixed: When sending documents to Booking.com, some email addresses were failing validation incorrectly. This issue has been fixed. Any affected documents can be resent free of charge. Learn more about it here.

Fixed: Non-administrator users were unable to see the Sign Or Send button in the UI. This issue has been fixed.

Signature Updates | January 6, 2022

Happy New Year! We have made a number of updates and bug fixes this month, including:

Updated: Multiple files can now be uploaded at once in order to create a template, or use Sign or Send. The uploaded files will be merged together into a single document in the editor, based on a merge order that you can set. Learn more about it here.

Updated: A groups column has been added to the Inbox page, to allow inbox documents to be sorted by their associated groups. To view this column, you will need to first edit the column headers. Learn more about it here.

Updated: An ALL types filter has been added to the Templates page, to match the Inbox page.

Updated: When creating a group with the same name as an existing group, a number will be added to the end to differentiate the new group from the original group.

Updated: Documents can now be added to groups in bulk on the Inbox page, using the Change Group feature found under the Actions button.

Updated: User access controls have been expanded with 2 new options to allow the specified user to view all items on the Templates and/or Inbox pages.

Fixed: Drag-and-drop functionality on the Templates page was not working for some accounts. This issue has been fixed.

Fixed: Filter counts were showing incorrectly depending on the user access settings. This issue has been fixed.

Fixed: Translation errors have been corrected.

Signature Updates | December 13, 2021

We have made a number of updates and bug fixes this month, including:

Updated: The new Snap-To-Alignment tool has been added, to make it easier to align fields in your templates and documents. Learn more about it here.

Updated: User access controls have been added to the user and group settings. You can now control who can view specific content in your account. Learn more about it here.

Updated: The old version of the UI has been phased out, and you will no longer be able to switch to it on the Settings page.

Fixed: Translation errors have been corrected.

Fixed: Display issues related to some language translations have been corrected.

Fixed: A typo in the success notification email has been corrected.

Fixed: The edit menu on the Templates page was clipping through the bottom of the dashboard.

Fixed: There was an issue with some audit trails that prevented some documents from being marked as completed. This issue has been fixed.

Signature Updates | November 8, 2021

We have made a number of updates and bug fixes this month, including:


Updated: Signature can now be used in the following languages: Spanish, German, Italian, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, English. Learn more here.

Updated: When deleting a template, any associated automations in Signature, or triggers in Automata will be deleted. This will remove the need to manually clean up automations and triggers lists.

Updated: The switch UI banner has been moved to the Settings page, for any users who still wish to use the old UI.

Fixed: The tags field was not showing all the assigned tags correctly. This has been fixed.

Fixed: The edit menu was sometimes opening at the bottom of the page. This has been fixed.

Fixed: The Remember Me checkbox on the login page was not opening the Save Password dialog correctly. This has been fixed.

Signature Updates | October 26, 2021

We have made a number of updates and bug fixes this month, including:

Updated: A new tab called Documents has been added to the contact details overlay. This will show all documents that are associated with the specified contact.

Updated: Access to the billing page is now restricted to administrators only. This change was made thanks to user feedback.

Fixed: For displays running at lower resolutions, the Settings menu was not fully visible. This has been corrected.

Signature Updates | October 4, 2021

We have made a number of updates and bug fixes this month, including:


Updated: If a signer tries to open a document that is already completed, they will now be taken to a landing page that explains why they can not edit the document further.

Updated: The billing info page can only be accessed by administrator users.

Fixed: If a contact uploaded a bad image file, the document could not be marked as completed. This issue has been resolved.

Fixed: The automation count in the sidebar was showing the incorrect number of automations for some accounts.

SIGNATURE UPDATES | SEPTEMBER 13TH 2021

We have made a number of updates and bug fixes this month, including:

Updated: The channel filter is now available for Invoice Created and Invoice Paid events. This was previously restricted.

Updated: Tooltips have been added to the automation activity logs to increase the amount of information available when reviewing automation activity.

Updated: Tooltips have been added to the Automations table to provide more information when reviewing your list of automations.

Fixed: Users were temporarily unable to access the app through the login page or the addons button in TV3. This issue has been resolved.

Fixed: Text inserted through data fields were misaligned near the bottom of longer documents in the inbox and the preview. This issue has been resolved.

Fixed: When sending to some Booking.com guests, a bad email error message was returned, causing the send to fail. This issue has been resolved.
